I woke up to a blue sky today. I went for a walk to the island Djurgården, and remembered

to bring my camera.

In a couple of months these fields will be crowded with people on vacation, the café will be

open again. Today it was just me, having it all to myself.

(not very seasonal, i know) and slivered almonds. good. met joanne :) we had some
coffee and a quick look in papercut shop.

I went to the local food hall this morning and bought the most wonderful honey.

the man who sold it was also the bee farmer and he told me about which flowers the bees

used, and how the flavour of the honey changed throughout the summer (mine was thistles).

Made really sticky blueberry jam and ate it with plain yoghurt.

One of my worst childhood memories actually includes blueberries. I was out in the woods
next to my home picking blueberries. I was very into it and had almost filled my basket
with berries when i bumped in to a crane. Me, about 9 years old, was not much taller
(they can be 140cm tall) and ran as fast as i could home. unfortunately i fell and lost
my breath (quite painful) which resulted in my favorite pink dress being all black and
blue from the berries i'd picked. haha!

Found this ikebana guide in a 2nd hand book shop today. It's from 1963 and and man named Sven bought it on a trip to Tokyo the same year. He's written a
little note inside. curly, old forgotten handwriting. Just like your grandmother's.

Today I received a letter from Stockholm's graphic school, telling me that I was accepted for the two-year course. I'm not sure what to do, but instead of
thinking about that I'm happy for my friends Linnéa and Oskar from Neon Tights who also got in. Congrats guys!

Gothenburg has been really misty in the mornings. I keep telling myself that it's a sign of spring :) I have some sunshine inside in the form of golden

I bought some new fabric for another dress and new pillows for the sofa

Good morning!

I want to start with a big Thank You! for all the great comments about my dress in the previous post. The top photo is the book I used and I bought it on
ebay and i searched for "japanese craft book". (could someone that speaks japanese please tell me what the title is? i think it is "cotton, linen-something").

look what I did! I've never sewn a piece of clothing before (i'm actually proud of myself)

a couple of days ago I was complaining about that I did not have any money to buy new clothes with - so i decided to make my own for just a tiny
percentage of what a new dress would have costed.

it took me 3 hours (and i sew by hand)
and i'm gonna make more :)

Hello friends!

I've been away for a couple of days to meet my family in sthlm. I really wish I lived closer. It's hard to be far away from your loved ones.
We have been cooking good food (my mom is really fond of mediterranean food and so am I) and I met one of my aunts and my grandmother.
So happy to meet them since it's been more than six months. It feels like I have new energy to spend on this week.

Three years ago I bought a dark blue cardigan from Acne Jeans. I use it everyday and I've repaired it's arms and back countless times. The merino wool
isn't made for my adventures ;) There's two buttons left but I still use it everyday. Do I need to say that I love that cardigan?

...yesterday I accidentally shrank it when I was doing the laundry. Goodbye dear!

He brought me a cute carpet with dromedaries (not camels...) on it. I love how quirky they look!

Rui and Sara went to Mozambique for christmas. They bought delicious vanilla-caramels, a fan and a book for me. so sweet :)

Good morning,
I've been a bit lazy with the blog, and that's probably because it's so freezing outside that I don't want to bring my camera when I go for a walk. my
hands freeze to icecubes as soon as I take my gloves off :)
