everyday

I'm happy! The principal in my school told us that we are going to Berlin this spring. YES! I've never been there and I'm so excited :)

The beautiful old green closet in school. it contains fabrics in all possible colors for croquis studies. The second pic is my classmates deciding what to do
about the little "scene" the model should be in. And third, all those delicious swedish apples.

This week went incredibly fast. Nowadays I feel that about all weeks. There was a time when everything was so slow. I prefer this.

Have a great weekend! I'll be back with some updates, I think.

greta: thank you! and yes, waiting for hair to grow is so boring. but you can focus on other things like jewellry/makeup/clothes instead!
rita: oh, thank you :)
fine little day: det var ett bra omdöme! ibland vill jag vara sparv.
parisa mahmoudi: baklava is sooo gooood and sooo sweeet! I'm gonna have it with strong coffee next time.
Marion: thank you. that's really kind of you to say :)

marie: yes, those are the best sundays!

time out of mind

what? is it november already?
and sunday too. My autumn break is over and I'm going back to school tomorrow. It's been a great opportunity to rest and I've found time to do things I
can't when I'm in school. My dear friend was here, I've had long mornings just for sleep and evenings without stress. Time to draw, read and relax.
Sunday is a wonderful day to get things done. Hope your sunday was as good as mine :)

I give you some glimpses of our home, as it looked today.

butternut

I've been a little off lately and forgot about the blog and the daily photographing. I hope it's gonna change this week. I'm very excited today because
I'm gonna pick up my friend Agnes at the train station soon. I'm sure she's going to give me some inspiration :)

(I'm making soup of the butternut pumpkin as i'm writing this. It's delicious with some rye bread)

I'm so happy to see new readers! Welcome!

isabelle: thanks! that looks delicious. I'm gonna try it soon.
madeline: wow! fried... sounds dangerous :D
chanel: That makes me wanna eat it again :) I think I have to find a really good recipe for it.
Monaka: oh, is that true? you must have had great bread in poland. I really wanna learn how to.
escadabelle: thanks you! I'm gonna try one of those...
aixxx: ok. are they slimy raw?
fine little day: randigt är så fint! och tack så mycket!
kathy: hi! That striped fabric was bought in a store in Sundsvall (a town in the northern part of sweden) and it was a temporary consignment from india.
I'm sorry :(
(you should def visit sweden! stockholm is great.)
limoncellodituscany: that sounds good! okra with tomatoes. yum!

kitchen help wanted

I have two things in my kitchen today that I'm not used to. I bought some okra yesterday, but I don't know what to do with them. Do you have any advice?
I've heard that you can make stews with them, but I want something more simple. Sauté them maybe?

And that bubbly, beige jar is a gift from Johan. It's a sourdough and I'm lost here too. sigh.

Have a happy tuesday!

irene: haha! I'd like to hear about those norrlandsguld-memories!
NW: wow! I'm happy to hear that <3
joanne: yes it is a CDR-print. I absolutely adore it. it's perfect above our vinyl player.
sc: you're right! There can never be too much halloumi. I made it again tonight :D
shokoofeh: thank you!
lea: thank you, and you'll have frost before you know it!
caroliiine: thanks!
jenna: i agree, there is something special about it. the way the fabric folds...

yesterday was so good :) fika with sandra, halloumi overload at home and I made an apron. it's nice that I don't own a sewing machine - it's very
therapeutic to sew by hand!

monaka: oh, you're so lucky! You have the whole series of twin peaks to enjoy from scratch. i'm jealous.
a: autumn's great :D
sc: thank you!
mette: thank you mette! hope your twin peaks session was good too!
